Everyone of you must handled or at least seen pliers, because they are used in many different areas, as like house hold projects.

    • Chain Nose Pliers - probably the most used pliers in jewelry projects. They can be bought from the hardware store nearby your house, ordered on the internet or you might have it in your toolkit at home (so before spending your money, check in your house). You will discover that these are most used tool in jewelry making work. They will help you to bend, hold and turn the wire. Because of their narrow arms and flat edges they can be used to pick up findings or beads.

    • Round Nose Pliers – they look similar to the Chain Nose but may not be available at the store since because they are made for the jewelry industry. The round nose pliers, with their ends finer (measuring 1 to 2 mm at the tip) than the chain nose ones will help you turn wires into loops, make more perfect round loops, smaller loops and also to open and close jump rings. These pliers are also great for winding wire which is required in some designs.

    • Flush cutter - used for cutting wires. It leaves one side of the cut wire flush or flat. The cutting surface of the flush cutter is made so that one side is sharp and the other side is flat. The best flush cutters have one side which is perfectly flat and use the hardest steel.
